Over a twenty five year life span The Subs’ have not only built a reputation as one of the best
covers bands around, they have also backed some of the most influential artists of the modern age, including
cult punk queen Hazel O’Connor who the band have toured and recorded with for over 20 years.
Other artists The Subs’ have backed include...Toyah Willcox, Carol Decker (T’Pau), Pauline Black (The Selecter),
Ranking Roger (The Beat), and Neville Staples (The Specials) to name but a few,
performing at many of the largest venues in the UK
from Glastonbury Festival to the LG Arenas.
Throughout the last twenty five years the band has also held a residency
at one of Birmingham’s best live music venues, “The Jam House”, they have played at many of the
countries largest sporting events and performed at several celebrity weddings.
